Bereavement and loss

Helping you to process grief that is deeply personal to you, your relationship, and the situation.

Every loss is unique.

Feelings of loss can happen when somebody is alive, because an illness is changing the person you love or you have “anticipatory grief” at the thought of losing them, or a relationship has ended.

Grief can be confusing. You may have feelings of guilt, relief, crushing sadness, and worry, alongside questions about whether you did the right thing.

The dying time and death may have been traumatic to witness and you could be left with haunting images and memories.

The thought of “moving on” or “getting over it” may feel threatening, scary, and like the person you love is slipping further away from you.

Navigating loss alongside your partner, siblings, children, and parents can make you feel more alone.

Counselling can help by giving you space to share and process your emotions. You can ask questions, share memories, and receive warmth and understanding as you navigate through your pain. It is never too early or late for bereavement counselling. You can learn ways to keep moving whilst holding connection to the person you love.

I offer bereavement and grief counselling in person in Soho, Kings Cross London, online, and on the phone.
