Therapeutic Coaching

Helping you navigate work and life upheavals with a blend of coaching and counselling.

Counselling is about sitting alongside you as you navigate life’s upheavals and challenges. It is about offering warmth and empathy for your pain, helping you to better understand and accept your situation. Counselling can give you ways to cope and move forwards.

Coaching is often focussed on work challenges or a specific issue in your life. Whilst it looks at where you are now, and how you got here, much of the time is spent exploring what next, and what action to take.

Therapeutic Coaching is a blend of both

Is Therapeutic Coaching for you?

  • If you are asking, counselling or coaching?

  • There’s a specific issue you want to work on, but there are some other knotty problems you might want to untangle.

  • The main issue you are facing is job-related, but it is impacting your mental and/or physical health.

  • You aren’t sure if you feel comfortable talking about personal or traumatic experiences with a coach, but you’d like the option.

How does it work?

In our first session, I will ask you what brings you to Therapeutic Coaching.

You will set boundaries for what you are comfortable talking about.

I might check-in by asking questions like, “this sounds important, how would it feel to discuss it deeper?”

Your comfort and safety is paramount, and we will only go where you want to.
